With the '53 Tapped Tele Set, Seymour Duncan Custom Shop aimed to make a set of stacked Tele pickups with the sound of single-coil pickups, but the hum-canceling properties of humbuckers. This is Seymour's personal favorite set of Tele pickups, by the way. The bridge pickup uses alnico 2 magnets for smoother tone that won't rip your ears off, while the neck pickup uses alnico 5 magnets for more articulation and presence. Includes a 5-way switch: these pickups are great with a 3-way switch, but the included switch allows you to explore even more switching options.
